About the Role

This part-time position involves transporting shelter residents, staff, volunteers, and board members to various destinations. We require someone who is reliable, punctual, and able to maintain accurate records of trips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport shelter residents to scheduled appointments, medical visits, and other essential destinations.
  • Provide safe and courteous transportation services to clients, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all trips, including destinations, times, and any relevant notes.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth and coordinated transportation process.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this role.
  • Prior experience working with vulnerable populations is highly desirable.
  • The successful candidate will possess effective communication and crisis intervention skills.
  • A valid Ohio driver's license and proof of insurance with less than 4 points on driving record are mandatory.
