Job Overview

The Transportation Program Management Director plays a pivotal role in spearheading strategic initiatives and delivering program management services to clients across the Transportation Business Group. This position provides visionary leadership for strategic planning and development of program management initiatives, implements quality control measures, and coordinates the growth of program management staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth through program management services
  • Implement and refine program management processes and systems
  • Coordinate staffing on relevant projects/programs within the Transportation Business Group
  • Oversight of large programs, including lead or principal in charge when required
  • Assist and support strategic and tactical pursuits for large programs
  • Serve as the program management business class director; develop and mentor staff in related fields
  • Develop strategic growth plans, identify staffing needs, actively manage recruiting efforts, and establish metrics for program success
  • Direct efforts to utilize staff and enhance overall success of program management services
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management/Science, or equivalent
  • Minimum 10 years of project management experience working with external clients
  • Understanding of transportation business services and procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with fact-finding experience
