Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining strong relationships with small business clients. They will be responsible for identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to provide comprehensive financial solutions, including credit, deposits, and treasury services.

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve revenue, loan, deposit, and profitability goals.
  • Identify and pursue small business credit, deposit, and treasury management opportunities within the assigned coverage area.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with Retail branch teams to communicate key issues, review prospect and relationship opportunities, and enhance client-experience and servicing efforts.
  • Analyse customers' financial needs and recommend tailored solutions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
  • Routinely engage with prospective, existing, and assigned clients to develop relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Conduct thorough credit analysis and determine potential loan structure upon intake of a loan request.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, bank policies, procedures, and operational integrity.
  • Collaborate with credit, risk, compliance, and operations specialists throughout the origination, onboarding, and servicing of small business loans.
Qualifications Summary
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or economics preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in a financial institution, with prior business banking experience.
  • Demonstrated success in sales and sales management, with exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
