- Environmental Compliance Manager - Gold Coast Airport Precinct
- Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement environmental compliance strategies across the Gold Coast Airport precinct.
- Collaborate with tenants, contractors, regulators, and colleagues to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
- Manage environmental monitoring programs (e.g. water, air, noise, waste, soil).
- Investigate and respond to environmental incidents in line with QAL procedures.
- Deliver environmental inductions and training for staff, tenants, and contractors.
- Maintain accurate databases, records, and regulatory reporting.
- Work with the Environmental Systems Manager to support sustainability and compliance outcomes.
- Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience in implementing or working with Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 or similar).
- Hands-on experience with inspections, audits, and environmental monitoring.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to identify risks, trends and compliance gaps.
- Current Queensland driver's licence.
- Eligibility to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC) and pass a Federal Police check.
