About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead our Front Office team at Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Office.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating daily Front Office operations, including guest check-in and check-out, room assignments, and resolving guest complaints.
  • Leading and motivating a team of Front Office staff to deliver outstanding service and achieve sales targets.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve guest satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy in guest billing and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role in a 4 or 5-star hotel.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional guest service.
  • High school certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Tertiary qualification (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
