Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals at a Tier 3 civil contractor. This is a key role that requires strong communication skills and attention to detail.

The ideal candidate will be part of the preconstruction team, involved in putting together tenders and participating in tender interviews.

This position involves working on tenders, coordinating internal and external resources, and preparing and submitting tenders. Additionally, the successful candidate will evaluate and review tender and estimating processes for cost effectiveness, negotiate with clients and subcontractors, and prepare budgets based on tender submissions.

To be considered for this role, applicants should have a tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or similar, and at least 3 years' experience in management roles on civil construction projects with a project value of $5m to $20m+. Strong commercial acumen, effective problem-solving abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
