Large Scale Solar Portfolio Manager

This is a senior role that requires an experienced asset manager to oversee the operation and performance of a portfolio of large-scale solar assets in Australia. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing policies, processes, and procedures to ensure all relevant procedural/legislative and contractual requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of up to 5 sites with a capacity of approximately 1000MW in Australia.
  • Maximize total return for each asset through analysis of system efficiencies and identifying opportunities for improved performance.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with EPC & O&M contractors to maximize safe asset performance and operation.
  • Support divestment initiatives as required and in line with business strategy.
  • Monitor and control financial budgets, conduct monthly reviews of operational and financial KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare stakeholder reports and manage the sub-portfolio from commercial, financial, and technical perspectives.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of the Australian and global renewables market, especially large-scale solar PV and battery storage.
  • Understanding of key contracts and critical stakeholder management for solar or battery assets.
  • Technical knowledge of large-scale solar and battery assets.
  • Strong process orientation and technical IT skills supporting automation.
  • Proficiency in SAP financial systems.
  • At least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably in the solar market.
