Job Summary
  • Key Areas of Responsibility:
  • We are looking for an experienced professional to process daily accounts payable invoices.
  • Investigate non-PO invoices in the Basware Exceptions workflow and reassign to the correct Coder for action.
  • Follow up with approvers, coders, and PO receivers to facilitate correct payment terms to suppliers.
  • Provide support to Basware users and assist with troubleshooting issues.
  • Coordinate with the Accounts Payable Manager to provide expected payment figures for pay runs.
  • Execute weekly and monthly creditor payment runs using EFT, BPay, and Foreign payments as required in Oracle.
  • Verify all bank account changes on Suppliers in Oracle to ensure accurate payments.
  • Liaise with creditors for overdue invoices and negotiate payment arrangements.
  • Manage Supplier Accounts by reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
  • Process supplier invoices and correspondence via email or postal scanning and dispatch.
  • Maintain mailboxes for Accounts Payable and Invoices, responding promptly to queries and requests.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Manager as required.
  • Adhere to workplace health and safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
