Apprenticeship Support Specialist

**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking an experienced Mentor Support Officer to join our team at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry WA. As a key member of our Apprenticeship Support Australia (ASA) business unit, you will play a vital role in providing mentoring and support services to our clients.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience working with young people or proven relevant experience. They will also have a strong understanding of issues faced by women in trades and/or male-dominated work environments.
In this full-time, permanent position, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments with clients, delivering mentoring support, and developing tailored support plans. You will also collaborate with key stakeholders to promote Australian Apprenticeships and represent ASA at events.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Risk Assessment and Support Planning**: Conduct thorough risk assessments with clients to identify potential barriers to completion, and develop tailored support plans to address these challenges.
- Mentoring and Support**: Deliver high-quality mentoring support to clients, either in-person, over the phone, or online, ensuring their needs are met throughout their training contract.
- Client Engagement**: Foster positive relationships with clients, building trust and confidence in our services, and encouraging them to engage fully with their apprenticeship programs.
- Collaboration and Networking**: Work closely with key stakeholders, including employers, educators, and other industry professionals, to promote Australian Apprenticeships and share best practices.
