About the Role

Are you an expert in apprenticeship programs with excellent communication skills? We are seeking a skilled Apprenticeship Support Consultant & Mentor to join our team based in Western Australia. In this multifaceted role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the success of apprenticeships within the regional community. Your primary responsibilities include delivering training contract sign-ups to employers and apprentices/trainees, providing advice and guidance to employers on incentives and eligibility, and delivering fundamental mentoring support to both apprentices and employers. You will also be responsible for reaching out to local businesses and your networks to promote the Apprenticeship Support services. Furthermore, you will undertake assessments of employers and apprentices to determine apprenticeship readiness. Reporting to the Team Leader, Regional Operations, this rewarding role offers a full-time, maximum term contract until 30 June 2024.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a drive to exceed expectations. You will have a customer service-oriented mindset, with a passion for helping others. Additionally, you will have the ability to work independently and organise your daily schedule. Knowledge of apprenticeship programs and the education sector is a plus, although not compulsory. Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a network of clients is essential. A current and valid Driver's Licence, National Police Clearance, and Working with Children Check are also required.

Candidate Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Knowledge of apprenticeship programs and the education sector (plus).
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a network of clients.
