Job Overview

The Quality Assurance Consultant plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional, factually accurate, and timely medico-legal reports. This position involves reviewing reports against quality frameworks and relevant regulations, fostering strong relationships with customers and experts, and collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow prioritization.

Main Responsibilities

  • Review medico-legal reports against quality framework and relevant regulations and legislation
  • Foster sustainable relationships with customers and experts through open and interactive communication
  • Work collaboratively with team members to ensure effective prioritization of workflow
  • Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing
  • Resolve emerging problems and handle customer complaints by providing suitable solutions and alternatives within time constraints

Qualifications

  • Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal, or insurance sectors
  • Experience in interpreting medico-legal reports highly valued
  • Experience in utilizing the AMA Guides and WorkCover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments desirable
  • High level of written and verbal communication skills
  • Good computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
