Disability Support Worker Role
\We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this rewarding role, you will provide direct support to individuals with disabilities in their day-to-day living.
\As a Disability Support Worker, your primary responsibility will be to assist customers with domestic and personal care needs. This includes helping them with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
\You will also work alongside customers to help them maintain a positive connection to their community. This may involve assisting them with accessing local facilities, participating in social activities, and engaging in hobbies and interests.
\Our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with customers and colleagues alike. You will also need to be resilient, confident, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
\A valid NDIS Workers Screen Check is required prior to commencement, as well as a current driver's licence and proficiency in using computers and software programs.
\Working hours for this role may include shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays. Significant availability during the Christmas period is essential.
