At Life Without Barriers, we are seeking casual Disability Support Workers in Albury to provide exceptional care and support to individuals with disabilities. We offer two programs: Supported Independent Living and Lifestyle.

Supported Independent Living

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for supporting people with disabilities in shared housing or their own homes, assisting with personal care and daily living tasks. A 24/7 roster ensures flexible working arrangements, including morning shifts, early starts, and sick leave cover.

Lifestyle Program

You will provide one-on-one support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community, traveling between clients and working short shifts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with daily personal care routines, such as bathing and toileting.
  • Supporting clients with complex medical needs, remaining calm and reassuring during challenging situations.
  • Tracking and documenting client needs, fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

Requirements:

  • Unrestricted New South Wales driver's license and reliable vehicle access.
  • Basic technology skills, including mobile and desktop platforms.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (HLTAID003 or HLTAID011) or willingness to obtain.

Successful candidates will undergo state-based probity checks, including a National Criminal History Record Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
