
Speech and Communication Clinician

Your Role:
- Work as an adult-serving clinician in a mobile capacity.
- Conduct assessments and provide interventions for adults in residential aged care and the community.
- Open to recent graduates and experienced professionals.
- A permanent full-time or part-time opportunity is available.
As a Speech Pathologist, you will report to your state-based team lead and provide high-quality mobile services to adults in residential aged care facilities and the local community. You will have access to extensive resources and internal clinical supervision.
You will also have opportunities to attend workshops and receive professional development funding.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing your calendar of appointments – flexible work hours and locations are available.
- Assessing and diagnosing clients' swallowing and communication difficulties.
- National travel may be required to support clients in regional locations.
- Providing telehealth-based assessments and intervention.
- Liaising with colleagues.
- Advocating for client needs.
- Working closely with organisational staff and support coordinators.
- Providing consultative and educational support to clients and colleagues.
