We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our growing team. As a Speech Pathologist at Hearth, you will work with clients with various disabilities in their homes, schools and communities under the supervision and support of experienced senior clinicians and external mentors.

The successful candidate will have a caseload of NDIS clients with complex communication needs, including AAC, swallowing/dysphagia and other challenges. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team working alongside Occupational Therapists and Positive Behaviour Support Practitioners.

To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree, be a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia and hold a current Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose swallowing disorders
  • Work as an effective team member alongside Occupational Therapists and behaviour support practitioners
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans for clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families and other stakeholders

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Speech Pathology or recognised equivalent degree
  • Certified Practising Member of Speech Pathology Australia
  • Current Employee Working with Children Check/NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
