As a Clinical Nurse Consultant in Rehabilitation, you will be part of a dedicated multidisciplinary team at the Mersey Community Hospital. Your primary role will be to deliver exceptional rehabilitation care to patients across the North-West region.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and skilled nurse to take on a leadership position and contribute to enhancing patient functional and cognitive abilities. You will work closely with patients, allied health staff, and specialists to develop individualised patient-centred plans that meet goals and outcomes mutually identified by individuals and therapy staff.
Key Responsibilities- Providing professional advanced clinical leadership and expertise in the delivery of clinical advice, assessments, and interventions based on best practice in healthcare management.
- Leading the development of an effective service delivery framework, including contributing to business planning and evaluation of services to improve clinical outcomes.
- Maintaining a comprehensive network with community and support groups, developing collaborative linkages with other health professionals, and undertaking a broad consultative role.
- Implementing evidence-based practices through teaching, research, policy, and protocol development, and direct example within the practice setting.
- Registered as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

Terms and ConditionsPermanent, part-time day worker position working up to 32 hours per fortnight. Salary range $114,851 to $121,886 per annum (pro rata) with employer contributions to superannuation. Allowances may also be available, including postgraduate allowance based on qualification type.
