Role Summary

A Nursery Hand Production role is available in a wholesale plant nursery. The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with various tasks related to plant production, including potting plants and seedlings, operating machinery, and maintaining records.

About the Role

This is an entry-level position that does not require prior experience. On-the-job training will be provided to ensure the successful applicant can perform their duties effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Potting plants and seedlings
  • Operating potting machines, tractors, and other machinery
  • Meeting targets and record keeping
  • Watering of plants and assisting with irrigation
  • Cleaning and blocking nursery beds
  • Plant and site maintenance

Essential Criteria

  • Be physically fit and able to lift heavy items
  • Work quickly and efficiently in a team environment
  • Be willing to work in all weather conditions
  • Have your own transport with a current driver's licence
  • Live nearby (no public transport available)
