Job Title: Nursery Hand - Production

Nursery workers are essential for the production process, responsible for growing and preparing plants for sale.

  • Physical demands of the job include lifting heavy items and working in all weather conditions.
  • Employees must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a team environment.

The ideal candidate will have their own transport with a current driver's licence and live nearby.

Responsibilities:
  • Potting plants and seedlings
  • Operating potting machines, tractors and other machinery
  • Meeting targets and record keeping
  • Watering of plants and assisting with irrigation
  • Cleaning and blocking nursery beds
  • Plant and site maintenance
Essential Criteria:
  • Be physically fit
  • Work effectively as part of a team
  • Adapt to changing weather conditions
  • Have reliable transportation
