Job Summary

CertisciscP2 is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cargo Screening Officer to join our team at Darwin Airport precinct. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for performing cargo screening on freight, adhering to relevant Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and utilizing screening equipment provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough cargo screening to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Operate and maintain cargo screening equipment, including X-ray and Explosive Detection Technology (EDT)
  • Accurately record screening information and maintain accurate records
  • Work collaboratively with a small team to achieve operational objectives
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Security Licence
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities
