About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Senior to join our Corporate and Commercial Division. As an Audit Senior, you will play a key role in leading site audit teams and providing a hands-on compliance and advisory role that meets or exceeds client expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Audit Teams: You will lead site audit teams and ensure that all aspects of audit fieldwork are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Compliance and Advisory Role: You will provide a hands-on compliance and advisory role that meets or exceeds client expectations.
  • Client Relationships: You will maintain good working relationships with client staff and be aware of the wide range of Larking Gowen services.
  • Commercial Management: You will consistently achieve deadlines and understand the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income, and client service.
  • Training and Development: You will attend training courses to develop both technical and personal skills and maintain an understanding of audit methodology and Caseware audit software.
Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA Qualified: You must be ACA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
  • Experience: You must have significant experience of working with an external client base and experience of working in a professional accountancy practice.
  • Technical Skills: You must have experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email, and computerized audit packages.
  • Soft Skills: You must have a proven ability to adapt quickly to changing deadlines and priorities, manage a portfolio, and coach or mentor colleagues.
