Urgent Care Physician

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Emergency Medicine Specialist to provide high-quality emergency care in a Tier 2 ACEM-accredited training site.
This is an excellent opportunity for medical professionals to contribute to education, policy development, and telehealth support for rural sites while managing a diverse caseload including medical, surgical, orthopaedic, obstetric, and paediatric presentations.
The ideal candidate will participate in after-hours and weekend rosters as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team with strong support from engaged senior management.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior medical officers and Emergency Medicine trainees in an innovative teaching environment.
About the Role- Provide high-quality emergency care to patients
- Contribute to education and policy development initiatives
- Manage a diverse caseload across various specialties
- Participate in after-hours and weekend rosters to ensure comprehensive coverage
- Qualified medical practitioner with current full general registration in Australia
- At least three years post-graduate experience in Emergency Medicine
- Ability to provide guidance and mentorship to junior medical staff
