Urgent Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Urgent Care Nurse to join our team in Newcastle, Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an urgent care setting, triaging patients, and working collaboratively with medical practitioners to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Triage of all patients presenting to urgent care
  • Conducting comprehensive and accurate nursing triage
  • Performing procedural work such as suturing and plastering
  • Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in the dynamic urgent care environment
About You:
  • AHPRA Registered Nurse
  • Previous experience in triage within an emergency department, remote nursing, or ICU is preferred
  • Ability to assess and recognise health deterioration and escalate appropriately
  • Strong communication skills both verbal and written and a high level of critical thinking
