About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Product Designer to join our team. As a key member, you'll be responsible for crafting experiences, interactions, and solutions that drive user adoption and improve our product's overall quality.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Evolving and refining our Design System, working closely with engineers and designers to identify, create, and evolve patterns and reusable components.
  • Enabling the team by supporting engineers and designers to adopt reusable components, answering questions, and ensuring alignment with our Design System.
  • Pairing with engineers to ensure high-quality product experiences through meticulous implementation details.
  • Maintaining documentation to support accurate adoption and ensure seamless integration.
  • Advocating for end-users by deeply understanding customer needs, perspectives, and goals, and incorporating these insights into design decisions.
Your Background

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong design experience, including expertise in sophisticated cloud software and successful design system management within a product organization.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings effectively with teammates, founders, and customers.
  • Systems thinking, enabling you to see the big picture and connections between complex systems, while designing scalable and user-friendly solutions.
  • A high quality bar, with attention to detail and a commitment to enhancing customer experiences.
  • Pragmatism, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting deadlines, with the ability to resourcefully solve problems and make strategic trade-offs.
