Dovetail is a leading AI-first customer insights hub, revolutionizing how businesses connect with their customers. As a key member of our team, you'll contribute to the development of sophisticated, modern B2B cloud software that empowers product teams to make informed decisions.

We're seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Senior Product Designer who can craft experiences that meet our high quality bar. Your role will be instrumental in shaping the user experience, interactions, and solutions that drive user adoption.

You'll work closely with our cross-functional team to facilitate input from engineers, product managers, leadership, and other designers. Your collaborative approach will ensure seamless execution and delivery of projects.

As a key contributor, you'll be responsible for:

  • Advocating for the end user by deeply understanding customer needs, perspectives, and goals through regular customer interactions, research initiatives, and evaluative testing.
  • Designing solutions across our product experience that balance customer problems with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Contribute to our product vision by facilitating input from stakeholders and taking a journey-based approach to designing the end state.
  • Pair closely with engineers to ensure a high-quality product experience.
  • Contributing to our design system by working closely with designers and engineers to create and evolve patterns and components.

Your background should include:

  • Strong design experience as a professional product designer, working with sophisticated, modern, B2B cloud software.
  • Breadth of skills across the design process, including experience with carrying out product discovery, visualising and prototyping design concepts, and delivering detailed solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to convey opinions, thoughts, and feelings with teammates and customers.
  • Attention to detail with a high quality bar and ability to sweat the details on implementation.
  • Pragmatism, comfortable with ambiguity and shifting deadlines, with the ability to resourcefully solve problems and make pragmatic trade-offs.
  • Highly collaborative working style, experienced in working closely with adjacent roles to plan, prioritise, and deliver projects.
  • Stakeholder management, confident in communicating product and design visions to stakeholders.
