About the Role:
This role is responsible for designing, building and maintaining large-scale cloud infrastructure on AWS. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer at XPT Software Australia Pty Ltd, you will be working closely with our development teams to ensure the smooth operation of our applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure architecture on AWS
- Manage and maintain existing cloud infrastructure, including configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and integration with cloud infrastructure
- Implement security best practices and monitoring tools to ensure robust security posture
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3, CloudWatch, DynamoDB, RDS, IAM, MSK, and VPC
- Experience with Linux/Unix systems administration or Windows administration
- Strong scripting skills for automation tasks, preferably in Python or Bash
- Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Kafka design and development
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus superannuation and benefits.
