Disability Support Role

We are seeking a Disability Support Worker to provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities and promote inclusive living.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing individualized support to people with disabilities
  • Assisting with daily living tasks and promoting independence
  • Developing and implementing personalized support plans
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting as required

Requirements:

  • Qualification in disability (desired but not essential)
  • Current driver's license
  • WWVP card
  • First Aid certification
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable

Desirable Attributes:

  • Patience and ability to create a safe and stable home environment
  • Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for working with people with disabilities

Working Arrangements:

The successful candidate will work 38 hours per month in a rostered arrangement. This may include working evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
