Government Account Executive Opportunity

We are seeking a talented Government Account Executive to join our sales team. This role offers the opportunity to leverage your skills and experience to drive growth, retention, and expansion in the ANZ Government sector.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to own a book of customers and prospects, develop and execute territory and account plans, and drive acquisition, growth, and retention using Portfolio Intelligence insights.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own a portfolio of approximately 200 accounts across existing clients and new prospects.
  • Develop and execute territory and account plans to drive acquisition, growth, and retention.
  • Utilize value-based selling methodologies and the MEDPICC qualification framework to lead complex solution deals in SaaS selling environments.
  • Navigate executive and business decision-maker conversations, demonstrating experience in engagement with senior stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success Managers to increase product adoption, drive expansion, and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience with a proven Hunter mentality.
  • Deep SaaS-only selling experience with complex solution deals.
  • Expertise in value-based selling and ability to articulate vision-driven business outcomes across industries.
  • Experience in the ANZ Government sector and understanding of industry dynamics.
  • Proficiency with MEDPICC methodology and ability to create pipeline using industry tools.
  • Demonstrated strong executive and business decision experience and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
