Job Title: Geospatial Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Geospatial Developer to join our team and contribute to the development and customization of Physical Network Inventory tools within a scaled agile delivery framework.

You will collaborate closely with solution architects and technical leads to understand requirements, document low-level designs, develop and unit test features, and work with vendors to ensure the solution is deployed in accordance with the defined architecture.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in the delivery lifecycle of initiatives, strong customer service focus, and an ability to respond to changing customer priorities.

A key aspect of this role is to create high-level and detailed design artifacts for initiatives/projects, as well as contribute to test plans and strategies.

In addition, proficiency in Python with advanced libraries like Pandas and Numpy, along with experience with GIS software and spatial databases, is essential for this position.

Bonus points if you have a strong understanding of agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA/Confluence and SAFe certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work in client-facing roles to contribute towards the end-to-end delivery lifecycle of complex and large-scale physical network inventory systems.
  • Develop and implement geospatial solutions using Python and relevant libraries.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
  • Design and develop high-quality, maintainable code that meets project requirements.
  • Analyze data and identify areas for improvement, implementing changes as needed.
