About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Driver Performance Coach to join our team at Bunnings. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the best delivery experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor drivers to a high level of competency, aligned to our customer service approach, providing feedback and searching for opportunities to improve driver training, knowledge, quality, and efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, including transport providers, contractors, and suppliers, to ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Actively promote and drive communication with drivers, cascading business and operational requirements as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar position as a Driver Trainer or Assessor, with a focus on improving driver performance.
  • Hold a Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (essential).
  • Knowledge of heavy vehicle transport regulations, Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL), and Chain of Responsibility.
  • Strong commitment and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) regulations.
  • Experience in road transport operations, including last-mile deliveries.
  • Your own vehicle to utilize as part of the role (vehicle allowance provided).
