Transport Operations Manager

As a key member of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in leading, coaching, and retaining a high-performing team of Delivery Professionals. Your primary focus will be on setting your team up for success, ensuring they work safely and productively, and building a positive culture that drives excellent driver retention rates.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and coaching a team of Delivery Professionals to achieve exceptional results
  • Partnering with Allocators and the operations team to create high standards, accountability, and a culture of continuous improvement and growth
  • Using data to identify opportunities within delivery teams and current processes, and collaborating with operations to design, build, and execute process improvement projects
  • Ensuring the robust safety initiatives are being executed to improve driver safety and wellbeing

We're looking for a proven leader who is enthusiastic, energetic, and highly motivated, with a flexible and adaptable attitude for our diverse environment. You'll be a patient and positive communicator with strong verbal and written skills, experienced in improving driver engagement levels, and have a thorough understanding of transport departments, their activities, and general industry conditions and types of services offered by ANC.

Key skills and qualifications include:

  • Proven leadership experience in a transport or logistics environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
