About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Costing and Financial Manager to join our team at Samsung Australia.

This is an exciting opportunity for a financial expert with logistics experience to take charge of cost management and drive financial efficiency in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed performance reports and provide insightful variance analysis to inform decision-making.
  • Conduct ongoing analysis of process constraints, target cost-saving projects, and trace costs back to underlying activities.
  • Partner with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure SOPs are followed while meeting KPIs and cost targets.
  • Prepare logistics cost and cost ratio forecasts, reviewing them with Finance monthly to ensure corporate finance targets are achieved.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting & Finance is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role is required to demonstrate a deep understanding of logistics commercial management and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency in Credit Risk Analysis is necessary to assess and mitigate financial risks associated with logistics operations.
  • Strong proficiency in SAP and MS Excel skills are essential for data analysis, financial reporting, and forecasting within the logistics context.
