About the Opportunity

Woolworths Group seeks a seasoned leader to spearhead strategic priorities for WooliesX, driving innovation and growth within the organization.

This critical role will support the GM of Strategy, Transformation, and Enablement, and the MD of EverydayX in setting and refining strategic plans. The successful candidate will lead teams across various projects aligned with the EverydayX and Woolworths Group's strategic priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic plans, providing thought leadership to the leadership team.

Role model collaboration across the organization, ensuring initiatives are scoped and executed effectively.

Lead the strategy team, developing high-performing members with top-tier consulting experience.

Represent Woolworths Group on the Strategy Leadership Team, contributing to executive-level communication and engagement.

Requirements:

Proven expertise in digital transformation, eCommerce, and loyalty strategies.

Strategic problem-solving skills, delivering large-scale projects and change management.

Exceptional influence and relationship-building abilities with senior leaders.

Outstanding written and oral communication skills.

Strong leadership, coaching, and people development abilities.

Organized and structured, with the ability to coordinate multiple streams of work.

Driven and dynamic, pushing boundaries and achieving results-oriented goals.

Minimum 7 years' experience in a top-tier strategy consultancy or corporate strategy environment.

Retail/consumer market experience required; outstanding academic record and social achievements preferred.
