Assistant Manager Opportunity at Palmerston Tavern

Are you a motivated and inspiring leader looking to take the next step in your hospitality career? We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team at the Palmerston Tavern.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional guest experiences
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the venue, including open/close procedures, back-of-house administration, and staff recruitment and rostering
  • Develop and grow the business through creative initiatives and a passion for good food and memorable moments for our guests
  • Collaborate with the Venue Manager to achieve financial and business targets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hospitality management, particularly in food, bars, and gaming
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to lead and develop teams
  • Operational know-how to support the Venue Manager in achieving business targets
  • Current industry licenses and accreditation, including gaming license, RSA/RSG/RCG
