Voluntary Board Opportunity

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to fill a casual vacancy on our voluntary Board as a strategic advisor.

The Board has a maximum of 7 members who meet approximately 9 times each year, generally face-to-face at our office.

About Us

We are a not-for-profit community organisation providing free legal and social justice services to those experiencing disadvantage.

Our work spans various areas of law, including guardianship, domestic violence, consumer law, family law, child protection, elder law, criminal and traffic matters.

We serve a diverse range of clients, including people with disabilities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and those experiencing financial difficulties and homelessness.

First Nations people are strongly encouraged to apply. Members must complete a National Police Check before appointment.

They must also commit to preparing for and attending regular meetings, participating in other activities, and attending Annual General Meetings.
