The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Associate to join our Band 1 Corporate Energy and Infrastructure team, based in Sydney. In this role, you will work closely with market-leading partners and a broader team of specialists across the national practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Support national and international clients on mergers & acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, policy & regulation, and complex commercial contracting in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Undertake a range of work, including advising on mergers & acquisitions, project development, joint ventures, policy & regulation, and complex commercial contracting in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
- Work with clients on transactions and projects throughout Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
What You Will Bring
- Demonstrable experience across M&A, project development, policy and regulation, and complex commercial contracting, ideally within the energy and infrastructure sector.
- An excellent academic record, with the ability to apply technical legal knowledge in a commercial environment.
- First-class attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to comprehend intricate legal matters and manage large-scale transactions.
- A proactive approach and a desire to be an integral member of our leading and supportive team.
- A keen interest in the energy and infrastructure sectors, with a hunger to learn, develop, and contribute to a market-leading practice.
