Building Services Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and collaborate with design and project teams to ensure seamless service integration.
  • Review drawings, specifications, installation plans, and equipment to meet project requirements.
  • Inspect subcontractor work at milestones to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate temporary services and manage energising/de-energising procedures.
  • Address RFIs and liaise with authorities during site inspections.
  • Support tender evaluations, focusing on service coordination and value.
  • Contribute to construction programming to optimise workflow and minimise conflicts.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and assist with defect resolution and plan sealing.


Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Building Services/Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or similar.
  • Proven experience as a Building Services Manager on large scale multi-level residential or commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of building services systems – mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection & detection.
  • Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication – strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven to grow and develop.
