Building Services Manager

The successful applicant will play a pivotal role in the Facilities Management team, overseeing and coordinating the delivery of services through various facilities management agreements. This includes managing productivity, monitoring performance, and initiating remedial action as necessary.
The candidate will maintain sound relationships with clients and act as an interface on major projects. They will also prepare and manage maintenance, minor works, and construction program sales budgets in line with industry standards.
Key duties and responsibilities include:
- Ensuring effective operational delivery of client projects and programs by managing productivity of resources, monitoring performance, and initiating remedial action as necessary.
- Maintaining sound relationships with clients and acting as an interface on major projects.
- Preparing and effectively managing maintenance, minor works, and construction program sales budgets in line with industry standards.
- Achieving operational objectives through effective planning and utilisation of resources.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of the building and construction industry, including quality assurance, building project management, and contract administration.
- Experience and knowledge in leading and managing teams and individuals.
- Trade background highly regarded.
