Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager to lead our Hunter Class Delivery team. Reporting to the Head of Program Integration, this is a fantastic opportunity for a professional with expertise in managing complex defence shipbuilding programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project teams through clear direction and prioritisation while navigating technical challenges, interdependencies, and evolving requirements across programmes.
  • Maintain programme objectives and priorities by balancing trade-offs between quality, time and cost.
  • Develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders including project teams, customers, industry partners, sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure delivered products and services meet strict safety standards.
  • Cultivate proactive risk management cultures by identifying and mitigating potential risks while communicating risk positions and business impacts to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in project management in complex production build and/or engineering environments.
  • Proven ability to manage uncertainty, interdependencies, technical complexity, scale and duration.
  • Industry experience in defence, civil infrastructure and/or energy sectors is highly regarded.
  • Expertise in risk identification and mitigation.
  • Able to solve project issues across disciplines and stakeholder groups.
