Defence Engineering Professional

The role of Defence Engineering Professional supports growth in the Naval Combat Systems division and involves contributing to complex combat system development to deliver capability to the navy.

  • This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a tertiary qualification in a related engineering discipline and experience in systems engineering, preferably within an ASDEFCON context.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to complex combat system development and deliver capability to the navy
  • Manage internal and external stakeholders, including the customer
  • Collaborate in a team environment with strong writing and communication skills

About Your Skills and Experience

Applicants must have five plus years of experience in systems engineering and working in complex defence industry engineering programmes. Shipbuilding and/or combat systems programs are also desirable.

Australian citizenship and holding an AGSVA security clearance are mandatory requirements.
