Quality Director Position

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Quality Director to lead and drive quality initiatives across our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality frameworks to ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards.
  • Lead teams in the design, rollout, and evaluation of quality improvement initiatives.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report quality outcomes to stakeholders and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide strategic oversight on accreditation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with national safety and quality standards (e.g., NSQHS).
  • Support staff development and capability building.
  • Represent quality as a key member of the leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally with postgraduate qualifications in healthcare management or quality.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced work environment and proven ability to adapt quickly to change.
  • Working experience and strong knowledge of the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards.
  • Experience with quality systems, SharePoint/Intranet, and risk/incident management tools.
  • Strong background in developing and delivering training in the area of quality and safety, and working collaboratively with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders.
  • Expertise in document standardisation and control, internal audit, compliance and process mapping.
  • Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities.
  • Familiarity with LEAN, Six Sigma or similar methodologies is a plus.
