The Clinical Lead plays a crucial role in providing support, direction, orientation and education to clinicians within the Virtual Health setting. This ensures high-quality patient care through evidence-based guidelines and protocols; drives continuous improvement and compliance with regulatory standards.
Job Requirements:- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the healthcare system and an unrestricted registration as a registered nurse with AHPRA.
- Contemporary knowledge and experience of Healthdirect Virtual Health Services.
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively.
- Provide support, direction, orientation, and education to clinicians working across the GP Helpline and Healthdirect/NURSE-ON-CALL helplines.
- Plan and coordinate services relating to a particular group of clients or patients in the practice setting, as delegated by the Clinical Workforce Lead and Clinical Operations Lead.
- Act as a role model in the provision of holistic care to patients or clients in the practice setting.
- Clinical experience and sound knowledge of quality culture and clinical governance methods and reporting commensurate with the role.
- Previous clinical experience and knowledge of accreditation processes for clinical employees in a healthcare setting.
This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their leadership skills and work collaboratively with a team of experienced clinicians.
