Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Manager to report to Head of Engineering and lead the team's deliverables and sustainable functioning.

This role involves ensuring clear communication and visibility of the Team's activities with stakeholders and assisting with scheduling and prioritisation of work in the context of business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing a team (8-10 direct reports)
  • Identify and implementing continuous improvement initiatives including cost reduction through efficient working and innovative design solutions
  • Manage RES Australia's Technical strategy and risk exposure through development projects
  • Negotiating third-party consultancy agreements and construction contracts

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require extensive understanding of wind layout design and energy yield best practice, good understanding of solar layout design and energy yield best practice, leadership and time management skills, and ability to navigate through technical problems.
