Job Opportunity

The Australian Criminal Intelligence Commission advises senior decision makers on serious organised crime impacting Australia.

As a National Manager Operational Strategy, you will be at the forefront of tackling serious and organised crime targeting Australia, both within our borders and offshore.

About the Role

- Collaborate with domestic and international partners to support onshore and offshore operational activity targeting high-priority transnational and serious organised crime actors.

- Coordinate and deliver operational priorities for our domestic and international partners, driving and delivering against operational projects issued under board-approved determinations.

- Demonstrate proven leadership and extensive experience in an intelligence or law enforcement environment.

- Identify, adopt and drive innovative methods and practice, with a strong record of accomplishment in delivering innovative and transformative change within an intelligence or law enforcement environment.

- Participate in key operational and strategic forums, representing the agency at appropriate National Intelligence Community, domestic, and international law enforcement working groups and committees.

- Possess outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with acute political awareness and understanding of the machinery of Government, and how the agency operates within the Portfolio.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify opportunities for improvement and develop effective solutions.
