Job Description

The Visitor Experience Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a high standard of experience for visitors to an outdoor structure designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando. This includes managing front of house operations, site activations, and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage safety and risk on-site, including briefing of security contractors and venue opening and closing operations.
  • Undertake regular basic maintenance at the pavilion, including cleaning of floors and reflection pools.
  • Assess building maintenance needs, working with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure timely and budget-friendly solutions.
  • Oversight of on-site events, ensuring they are delivered as agreed within permit and risk requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in a relevant site management or visitor services role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Self-motivation, reliability, and initiative.
  • Experience working with suppliers, stakeholders, and contractors.
  • Current Working with Children Clearance or willingness to obtain clearance.
  • Valid driver's license.
