The Role

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our team in Brisbane. As an OT, you will be responsible for providing paediatric occupational therapy services to deaf and hard of hearing children across greater Brisbane, including Redlands, Logan, and Ipswich.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess children and write formal reports, including NDIS plans.
  • Develop, plan, and implement programs to meet the needs of each child.
  • Provide timely and effective clinical management, including therapy sessions and case coordination.
  • Maintain up-to-date case notes and progress reports.
  • Work collaboratively with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.

Your Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to manage a caseload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
