The Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Western Brisbane. As an Occupational Therapist with Everyday Independence, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide life-changing therapy services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to clients across the lifespan in Western Brisbane and surrounding areas.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement therapy plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify client needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based therapy programs to support client outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families to promote independence and community participation.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • General AHPRA registration and a valid driver's license.
  • Experience working in occupational therapy and a strong understanding of the social model of disability.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
