We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for servicing and repairing motor vehicles with a focus on first-time fix.
The Service Technician will provide guidance and training to apprentices and other service technicians, while maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of all mechanical issues and changes relating to the product range.
To be successful in this role, you will need to ensure a safe working environment through proper tool operation and maintenance. You will also be responsible for testing drive and conducting final assessments prior to delivery or return of vehicles to customers.
As a Service Technician, you will provide high-level customer service to dealership customers, ensuring their satisfaction with the work carried out.
**Key Requirements:**
- Cert III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Current C-class manual driver's license
- RWC license advantageous or willing to obtain
- A/C license advantageous or willing to obtain
- Customer service focused
- Understanding of service schedules and procedures applicable to brand partners
- Dealership experience preferred
- Reading, writing and computer literacy essential
