
Inventory Manager

Based in Yatala, Queensland, the Inventory Manager will report into the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement inventory control procedures to ensure high accuracy levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and full stocktakes to reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper tracking and documentation of stock movements, including inbound, outbound, and storage.
- Minimize stock write-offs, losses, and damages through best practices in inventory management.
- Utilize SAP the warehouse management system (WMS) to track inventory levels and generate reports.
- Identify inefficiencies in inventory management and implement process improvements.
- Work closely with warehouse and transport teams to optimize space utilization and stock rotation.
- Previous experience in inventory management
- Strong understanding of WMS and inventory tracking systems
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory data
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehousing and logistics
