We are expanding our team and seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join us in making a positive impact in our community.
- Job Description: We assess participants' emotional, psychological, cognitive, developmental, and physical levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
Responsibilities:
- Assess participants' levels of function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments.
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant.
- Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based.
- Support and advise on environmental adaptations including home, school, work, and residential facilities.
- Recommend the provision of Assistive Technology to assist participants with their functional limitations and promote independence.
Qualifications:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and the opportunity to learn from new ideas.
- Desire to work in a fun, collaborative, and supportive environment.
- Ability to work independently.
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector.
