Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and manage weekly, monthly, 6-monthly, and annual cash flow projections to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Develop and manage monthly, 6-monthly, and annual purchase budgets to optimize business performance.
- Prepare and submit half-yearly and annual reports to stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and business performance.
- Oversee company profitability through the maintenance of sales margins, purchases, and costs control.
- Liaise with external accountants on ad-hoc matters and End of Financial Year preparation.
- Manage relationships with international and local suppliers, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Build and maintain regular communication with store managers and staff to ensure seamless business operations.
- Monitor, prepare, and maintain current and future business loans and government grants, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage business insurance and workers' insurance across Australia, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance.
- Prepare, lodge, and maintain workers' insurance claims with discretion, if necessary.
- Review contracts relating to new supplier agreements or financial products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- CPA or CA certification preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial management, or a similar role.
- Experience working autonomously in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Attractive yearly bonus.
